The use of a photo box for employee photos
The staff in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly changing locations (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your teams the option to always identify themselves to 100% with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically adjusted to the ideal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in many formats and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card office or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen, similar to the photo booth.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data, e.g. B. Personnel identifier, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data is immediately read from the employee ID card. The information collected in this way is then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be set up with a release option for internal / external use of the employee profile.
After the photograph of the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or many backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned in a specified position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and format specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the file is used to compare the portrait taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department define the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image output can be synchronous in several dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be "branded" with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee can be directly visible on the image.

How does the employee get the photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can enjoy the new pictures, there are three different ways for the staff to choose to get their picture as a file.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobox provides its own WLAN which the staff has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code will appear on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery where staff can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the staff can use to download their original photo and the different sizes for the different target systems. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's inbox.

Of course, there is also the opportunity to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is taken over directly.
