What should be achieved?
The staff in your company get the opportunity to create and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at periodically alternating locations (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that no extra staff is needed on the spot.
You give your employees the chance to always identify themselves to 100% with their personal employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically cut to the ideal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different formats and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box in a similar way to the passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as e.g. B. Personnel number, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data is simply read in from the employee ID card. The employee data collected in this way is later part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the recording.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and format specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department define the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image output can take place in parallel in various dimensions.

How does the employee get his picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the staff to choose from to also receive their photo digitally.

The captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to download their original recording and the different formats for the different target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN that the staff has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the staff can download their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
