The use of a photo box for employee photos

The staff in your company get the opportunity to create and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at periodically alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your employees the option to identify themselves completely around the clock with their individual employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically cut to the appropriate format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different formats and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box in the same way as with the passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.

The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data can simply be read from the business card. The data recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a release option for internal/external use of the recording can also be set up.

After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or different backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned in a specified position on the final image.

The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved portrait and the in-house employee data record via the name of the picture. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the import interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can happen in many dimensions at the same time.
So you always have the right photo for
XING, Instagram, the CRM system, Twitter, Facebook
etc. ready.

Of course, each file can also be "branded" with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee will be immediately visible on the image.

How does the photographed person get his picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the staff to get their photo as a file.

1. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The photo box provides its own WLAN which the staff has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery from which staff can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth.
2. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   In this case, the photo taken is sent directly to the employee's email inbox.
3. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to load their original recording and the different versions for the various target systems.

Other uses

In order to make the best possible use of the acquisition, you have the following possible uses:

The need for investment

The cost of purchasing a photo box optimized in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and pays off for organizations with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the chance to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is purchased immediately.

Customer ratings

Since the system was introduced in 2019, two systems have been permanently installed in Germany and Zurich.
