The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and / or update their individual employee photo at a fixed location or at a location that changes regularly (e.g. in the casino, the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your workforce the chance to always identify 100% with their own employee photo.

The staff photos can be automatically cut to the best format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There the employees can stand in front of the photo box similar to a passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor.

The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID. The data collected in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the image can also be set up.

After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or more background settings you specified. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a defined point.

The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The file name is used to compare the captured image and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can take place simultaneously in various formats.

How did the staff come to the picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory get the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to receive his photo digitally.

  1. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
    The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
    At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the employee can download his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
  2. Download from an online gallery
    At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the screen, which the employee can use to copy down his or her original photo and the various formats for the different target systems.
  3. Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
    The captured photo is sent directly to the employee's mailbox.

The cost frame

The cost of purchasing such a perfected photo box starts at around € 4,400 plus VAT and pays off for organizations with around 100 employees.
Of course, there is also the option to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the later purchase if the photo box is bought directly.
