The mission goal
The field service employees in your company have the opportunity to take their own employee photo and / or bring it up to date at a fixed or periodically alternating location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra personnel on site.
You give your workforce the option to fully identify themselves at any time with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically adapted to the ideal format, removed from disruptive elements in the background and, if desired, saved in various formats and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You place a photobooth set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and read the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the display.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personal identification, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The data collected in this way then becomes a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the recording.
After the photo of the employee's picture has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or more backgrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (eg square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the saved photo and the in-house employee data record takes place via the name of the picture. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as optional add-ons.
The image output can be done synchronously in different formats.

How did the staff come to the picture?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new images, the sales representative has three different ways to get his image as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the screen, which the sales representative can use to download his or her original photo and the different sizes for the various target systems. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides its own WLAN that the sales representative has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery in which the sales representative can copy his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is sent immediately to the employee's mailbox.
