The mission goal
The field staff in your company are given the opportunity to take their own employee photo and/or update it at a fixed location or one that changes on a regular basis (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that extra personnel are not needed on the spot.
You give your employees the opportunity to always identify themselves to 100% with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically adjusted to the optimal format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in various dimensions and aspect ratios.
The solution
You place a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box in a similar way to a passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the display.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personnel identifier, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data is simply read from the employee ID card. The data collected in this way is then later part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen with a checkbox for internal/external use of the photo can also be displayed.
After the photograph of the employee picture has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and format specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the photographed image and the internal employee data record via the name of the image. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can happen in parallel to some extent.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with the help of the logo and/or the employee's name and position will be directly visible on the image.

How does the employee get the photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the sales representative to choose from to get his photo as a file.

The Photo Box provides a private WLAN that the field service employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery in which field workers can save their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the sales representative can use to download his original photo and the different versions for the different target systems.

Of course, there is also the option of testing the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the photo box is purchased immediately.
