The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the option of creating and/or updating their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at rotating locations (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
You give your workforce the option to identify themselves around the clock to 100% with their personal employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically adapted to the ideal format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in various shapes and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You place a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photobooth in a similar way to the passport photo machine and see the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Personnel number, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data is immediately read from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a release option for internal / external use of the recording can also be displayed.
Following the recording of the employee portrait, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned in a specified position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the picture is used to compare the portrait taken with the internal employee data set. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can take place at the same time to some extent.

How do the staff get their picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to get his picture as a file.
- Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery from which employees can download their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download their original photo and the different versions for the different target systems. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.
