The mission goal
The employees in your company have the option of creating and/or updating their own employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly changing locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your workforce the option to always fully identify themselves with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically cut to the ideal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in several formats and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photobooth set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit down in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen, just like with the passport photo machine.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as e.g. B. ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The employee data recorded in this way then becomes a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be set up with a release option for internal/external use of the employee portrait.
Following the recording of the employee picture, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the recorded portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department define the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional extension.
The image output can take place in different sizes at the same time.
So you always have the ideal photo for

etc. ready.
Of course, each file can also be "branded" with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee will be immediately included in the image.

How does the photographed person get their photo?
To ensure that the CRM system or ActiveDirectory is not the only one to benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to also receive their photo digitally.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery where the employee can load his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed, which the employee can use to copy his original photo and the various formats for the different target systems. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email address.

The cost frame
The investment for the purchase of a photo box adapted in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and pays off for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is purchased immediately.
