The mission goal
The field staff in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly changing locations (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your employees the chance to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their personal employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically adjusted to the best format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the cafeteria, at the ID office or at reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box in a similar way to a passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.
The screen serves as a touchscreen in parallel as an input terminal for the required information such as e.g. B. Personnel number, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data can simply be read from the employee ID card. The data collected in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a share option for internal / external use of the photo.
After photographing the employee picture, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for the Active Directory). The file name is used to compare the saved photo with the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can take place in parallel in different sizes.

Of course, each file can also be "personalized" with the company logo and/or the name and position of the employee can be included directly in the image.

How does the photographed person get his picture?
So that the CRM system or Active Directory alone does not get hold of the new photos, there are three different ways for the sales representative to choose from to also receive his photo as a file.
- Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the sales representative can use to download his original photo and the different versions for the different target systems. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides its own WLAN, which the sales representative must dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery in which the field worker can save his recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
Alternative deployment options
In order to get the most out of your purchase, you have the following possible uses:

The need for investment
The cost of purchasing a photo box perfected in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to test the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the later purchase if the system is taken over directly.
