The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company are given the opportunity to take a photo of their personal employee photo and / or bring it up to date at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your staff the opportunity to always identify 100% with their own employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically optimized to the best possible format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in various sizes and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, employees can sit down in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and read the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the display.
The monitor serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be programmed so that the data can be read out directly from the company ID card. The employee data collected in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be set up with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the employee profile.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or different backgrounds you have specified. The head is also analyzed for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a specified position on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and format you have specified (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department define the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image output can take place in parallel in various dimensions.

How does the photographed person get the photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory come into possession of the new photos, the employee can choose between three different ways of receiving his picture as a file.
- Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The Photobox provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery in which the employee can load his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is then immediately sent to the employee's email inbox. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download the original image and the various formats for the various target systems.

The need for investment

Of course, there is also the possibility of trying out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the photo box is kept directly.
