The mission goal
The employees in your company are given the opportunity to create and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not required on site.
You give your employees the option to always identify themselves to 100% with their own employee photo.
The staff photos can be independently optimized to the appropriate format, removed from annoying elements in the background and saved in several dimensions and aspect ratios if desired.
One possible solution
You position a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the touchscreen, similar to a photo booth.
The screen serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary data, e.g. B. ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobooth can also be configured in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The data recorded in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be set up with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the image.
After the employee portrait has been photographed, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or several backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the saved image and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the image. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image output can take place in many forms at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with logos and/or the employee's name and position can be directly visible on the image.

How does the photographed person get his picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to get his picture as a file.
- Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The Photo Box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the employee can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to load his original recording and the various formats for the various target systems.

The price for the purchase of a photo box optimized in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and pays off for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the later purchase if the system is taken over directly.
