The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and / or update their own employee photo at a fixed or alternating location (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your staff the chance to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their personal employee photo.

The staff photos can be automatically cut to the best format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in some formats and aspect ratios.

Our proposed solution

You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There the employees will sit down in front of the photo booth in the same way as with the passport photo machine and read the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the display.

The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobooth can also be set up in such a way that the data can simply be read from the company ID card. The data collected in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a release option for internal / external use of the image.

Following the recording of the employee picture, the background of the recording can be automatically exchanged for one or many backgrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also analyzed, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined position on the final image.

The image is saved in a size and format that you specify (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the picture is used to compare the recorded portrait and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the import interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra option.
The image output can be done in several sizes at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with a company logo and / or the name and position of the employee are directly on the picture.

How does the photographed person get the photo?

So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not come into possession of the new images, there are three different ways for the employee to receive his photo digitally.

1. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's mailbox.
2. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides its own WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can download his recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the direct vicinity of the Photo Box.
3. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed out on the screen, which the employee can use to download the original recording and the different sizes for the different target systems.
