What should be achieved?
The staff in your company have the opportunity to take their own employee photo and / or bring it up to date at a fixed location or at a location that changes at regular intervals (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on the spot.
You give your staff the chance to identify themselves 100% with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically optimized to the appropriate format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different shapes and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You position a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box in the same way as with a passport photo machine and read the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up so that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the image can also be displayed.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically exchanged for one or more of the background settings you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (eg square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the captured image and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can take place at the same time to some extent.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with company logos and / or the name and position of the employee can be immediately visible on the picture.

How does the photographed person get the picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory come into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the staff to choose to receive their image digitally.
- Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email address. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the staff can use to download the original image and the various versions for the various target systems. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photobox provides its own WLAN which the staff has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery where the staff can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

The need for investment

Of course, there is also the possibility to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the photo box is taken over immediately.
