The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the opportunity to take their own employee photo and/or update it at a fixed location or at regularly changing locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that no extra personnel is needed on site.
You give your teams the option to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically optimized to the right format, removed from annoying elements in the background and saved in various dimensions and aspect ratios if desired.
One possible solution
You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID office or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will sit down in front of the photo box in the same way as with a passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Personnel number, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The employee data recorded in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the photo.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is identified, scaled to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and format specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the photographed portrait and the in-house employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the import interface.

How does the employee get the picture?
To ensure that the CRM system or Active Directory alone does not get hold of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to also receive their photo digitally.

At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download his original photo and the various formats for the various target systems. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery where employees can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
