The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the option to create and / or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at a location that changes regularly (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that extra employees are not needed on site.
You give your teams the chance to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically cut to the ideal format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees are allowed to stand in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the required actions on the monitor.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary data such as B. ID, name, surname and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data can be read in immediately from the employee ID card. The employee data collected in this way are then subsequently an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can be set up with a checkbox for internal / external use of the recording.
Following the photograph of the employee picture, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a defined point.
The recording is saved in a size and format determined by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the photographed image and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the interface.
A biometric check and a cut for a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can take place synchronously in different sizes.

How does the employee get the photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can benefit from the new images, there are three different ways for employees to get their image as a file.

The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery in which the employee can copy down his recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the Photo Box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the screen, which the employee can use to download the original photo and the various versions for the various target systems.
