The use of a photo box for employee photos
The field staff in your company are given the opportunity to photograph and/or update the personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your teams the opportunity to identify themselves completely around the clock with their own employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically adapted to the appropriate format, removed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo booth like in a passport photo machine and read the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the display.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data is read in immediately from the employee ID card. The information collected in this way is then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal/external use of the image can also be displayed.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the picture is used to compare the portrait taken with the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the connection.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can take place synchronously in various forms.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” using the company logo and/or the name and position of the employee will appear directly on the image.

How does the employee get his picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the sales representative to get his picture as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the field worker can use to copy his original photo and the different formats for the different target systems. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is sent directly to the employee's mailbox. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photobooth provides its own WLAN which the sales representative has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code will appear on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the sales representative can download his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
Alternative deployment options
To get the most out of your purchase, you have these options:

The cost frame
The investment for the purchase of a photo box optimized in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the system is taken over immediately.
