The use of a photo box for employee photos
The field service employees in your company have the opportunity to create and / or update the individual employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your staff the option to fully identify themselves at any time with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically cut to the appropriate format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You position a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There the employees can stand in front of the photo box in the same way as with a passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the display.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personnel number, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data can simply be read from the employee ID. The employee data collected in this way are then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the photo.
Following the recording of the employee picture, the background of the recording can be automatically exchanged for one or different backgrounds you have specified. In the same way, the head is determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified location.
The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the image is used to compare the recorded image and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
The image output can take place in many forms at the same time.

How did the staff get the photo?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not come into possession of the new recordings, the field service employee has three different ways of getting his picture digitally.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photo box provides a private WLAN that the sales representative has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the sales representative can save his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the direct vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is then immediately sent to the employee's mailbox. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the screen, which the sales representative can use to load his or her original image and the various versions for the various target systems.
