The mission goal
The field staff in your company get the opportunity to photograph and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at periodically alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
You give your employees the option to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos can be independently cut to the optimal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in various sizes and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo booth in a similar way to a passport photo machine and see the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Employee identifier, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information collected in this way is then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a release option for internal / external use of the recording can also be set up.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and format defined by you (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the picture is used to compare the photograph taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as optional add-ons.
The image output can happen in parallel in different formats.

How do the staff get their picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the sales representative to get his picture digitally.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobooth provides a private WLAN that the sales representative has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the field worker can save his recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed, which the field worker can use to download his original photo as well as the various versions for the various target systems. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is sent directly to the employee's mailbox.
