The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and / or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly alternating location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that extra employees are not needed on site.
You give your staff the opportunity to always identify 100% with their own employee photo.

The staff photos can be independently cut to the appropriate format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different shapes and aspect ratios.

Our proposed solution

You place a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID office or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit down in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the display.

The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data is read in immediately from the employee ID card. The information collected in this way is then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be set up with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the image.

Following the recording of the employee portrait, the background of the recording can be automatically exchanged for one or more backgrounds you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.

The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the image is used to compare the photographed image and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the interface.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.
The image output can happen in several dimensions at the same time.
So you always have the best photo for
XING, WhatsApp & Co, the CRM system, LinkedIn, Instagram
etc. are available.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with a company logo and / or the name and position of the employee are immediately visible on the picture.

How does the photographed person get the photo?

So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not come into possession of the new photos, employees can choose between three different ways to get their picture digitally.

1. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.
2. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The Photo Box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can download his recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
3. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to load his or her original photo and the different formats for the different target systems.

Alternative uses

In order to make the most of the purchase, you have the following options:

• Employee photos (as already described)
• Creation of biometric passport photos and ID photos
• Pictures of groups of visitors, e.g. after a tour of the company
• Use at employee parties (summer party, Christmas party ...}
• Use at trade fairs to issue personalized “flyers”

The need for investment

The investment for buying a photo box optimized in this way starts at around € 4,400 plus VAT and pays off for companies with around 100 employees.
Of course, there is also the option of trying out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is retained.
