What should be achieved?
The staff in your company have the opportunity to photograph their own employee photo and / or bring it up to date at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that additional staff are not needed on site.
You give your teams the opportunity to identify themselves to 100% at any time with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically adjusted to the optimal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different shapes and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photobox set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There the employees will sit down in front of the photo booth, similar to the passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the display.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. ID, name, surname and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information collected in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be set up with a release option for internal / external use of the recording.
After the employee portrait has been recorded, the background of the recording can be automatically exchanged for one or more backgrounds that you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a defined point.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio you have specified (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the picture is used to compare the recorded portrait and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the connection.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can happen in different dimensions at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with the help of the logo and / or the name and position of the employee can also be on the picture.

How does the photographed person get the photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for staff to choose to receive their photos as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the screen, which the staff can use to load their original recording and the various sizes for the different target systems. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photobooth provides a private WLAN which the staff has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery in which the staff can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's email address.

Of course, there is also the option of trying out the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the photo box is taken over directly.
