What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the option of taking their own employee photo and / or bringing it up to date at a fixed or regularly alternating location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
You give your workforce the opportunity to identify themselves to 100% with their own employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically optimized to the appropriate format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in various formats and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You place a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees are allowed to stand in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touchscreen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary data such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data can simply be read in from the employee ID. The employee data recorded in this way are then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Alternatively, a disclaimer screen can be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the recording.
Following the photograph of the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or many of the backgrounds you have specified. The head is also analyzed for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified location.
The image is saved in a size and format you have specified (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison is made between the photographed portrait and the in-house employee data record via the name of the picture. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the interface.
As an extra option, a biometric check and a cut on a biometric ID photo are available.
The image output can take place synchronously in several dimensions.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with the help of the company logo and / or the name and position of the employee can be directly visible on the picture.

How does the photographed person get their photo?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not come into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for employees to receive their photos digitally.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The Photo Box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the employee can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the Photo Box. - Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.

At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to load his or her original image and the various versions for the various target systems.

The need for investment

Of course, there is also the option of trying out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the photo box is taken over immediately.
