What should be achieved?
The employees in your company get the opportunity to create and/or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at periodically alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your teams the option to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their personal employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically optimized to the best possible format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in several sizes and aspect ratios.
The solution
You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box in a similar way to a passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be set up in such a way that the data is simply read in from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way is then subsequently part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the image.
After the photograph of the employee picture has been taken, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the saved image and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department define the connection.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an option.
The image output can be done simultaneously in different dimensions.

How does the employee get his photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to get his photo as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to copy his original photo and the different versions for the different target systems. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides its own WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery where employees can save their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.
