The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
This gives your workforce the opportunity to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically optimized to the appropriate format, freed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You position a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and read the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor, as with the passport photo machine.
The screen serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Personnel identifier, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data is simply read from the employee ID card. The information collected in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen can also be presented with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the image.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is analyzed, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the picture is used to compare the photograph taken with the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the connection.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional extension.
The image output can happen in different dimensions at the same time.

How does the employee get his picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new pictures, there are three different ways for the employee to choose to get his picture digitally.

In this case, the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobox provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code will appear on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery where employees can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download their original photo and the various sizes for the various target systems.
