What should be achieved?

The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at rotating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that extra staff are not required on site.
This gives your workforce the option of fully identifying themselves around the clock with their individual employee photo.

The personal photos can be automatically optimized to the best possible format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in various shapes and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You position a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the personnel department, at the ID office or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen, as with the passport photo machine.

The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information, e.g. B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the image can also be set up.

After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or several backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also analyzed, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.

The photo is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved photo and the internal employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department define the import interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an additional expansion stage.

How does the employee get the photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can enjoy the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to get his photo as a file.

  1. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
    The photo box provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
    At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery where employees can load their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
  2. Download from an online gallery
    At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to download the original recording and the various versions for the different target systems.
  3. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
    The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's email address.

The need for investment
