The use of a photo box for employee photos
The staff in your company have the opportunity to photograph and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that extra staff are not required on site.
You give your employees the chance to identify themselves completely at any time with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically adjusted to the optimal format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in various dimensions and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card office or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will sit in front of the photo box in a manner similar to that of the passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the display.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personnel ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data can be read directly from the business card. The information collected in this way then becomes an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a release option for internal/external use of the employee portrait can also be set up.
After the employee portrait has been photographed, the background of the recording can be automatically exchanged for one or different backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is identified, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The file name is used to compare the portrait taken with the internal employee data set. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as optional add-ons.
The image output can happen in parallel in different formats.

How did the staff come to the picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can enjoy the new photos, there are three different ways for the workforce to choose from to get their photo digitally as well.

The photo box provides its own WLAN, which the workforce must dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery where employees can save their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to download their original photo and the different sizes for the various target systems. - Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.
