The mission goal
The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at periodically alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your employees the chance to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their own employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically cut to the best possible format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box, similar to a passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the display.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data is simply read from the employee ID card. The data collected in this way then subsequently becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the recording can also be displayed.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is analyzed, scaled to a specified size and positioned in a specified position on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the recorded image and the internal employee data record via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as options.
The image output can take place in different formats at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with logos and/or the employee's name and position will also be visible on the image.

How does the employee get their photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can enjoy the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to get his photo digitally.

The photo taken is then immediately sent to the employee's mailbox. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The Photo Box provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery from which employees can download their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download his original photo and the various sizes for the different target systems.

The need for investment

1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is taken over directly.
