The use of a photo box for employee photos
The staff in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at periodically alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that no extra personnel is needed on site.
You give your teams the option to identify themselves around the clock to 100% with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically adjusted to the ideal format, freed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in various formats and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photo booth that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box in a similar way to a passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personnel identifier, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobooth can also be programmed in such a way that the data is immediately read from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way is then subsequently part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the image.
After the employee portrait has been photographed, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the internal employee data record takes place via the name of the picture. We would be happy to help your IT department define the interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an option.
The image output can take place in several forms at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be "branded" with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee can be directly visible on the image.

How does the employee get the photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the staff to get their picture digitally.

Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email address. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The Photobooth provides its own WLAN, which the staff must dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code will appear on the screen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which staff can save their recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to download their original photo and the various versions for the various target systems.

The need for investment

Of course, there is also the opportunity to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the photo box is taken over immediately.
