The use of a photo box for employee photos
The staff in your company have the option of creating and/or updating the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at alternating locations (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not required on site.
You give your employees the chance to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their own employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically adapted to the best format, freed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You place a photo booth perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the personnel department, at the ID office or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personnel identifier, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way is then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a release option for internal/external use of the recording can also be displayed.
After the employee photo has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head is located for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the photographed portrait and the in-house employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo is available as an optional extension.
The image output can be in different forms at the same time.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the staff to choose to receive their picture as a file.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobox provides a private WLAN that the staff has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code will appear on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery from which staff can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path is only possible in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.

At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to download the original recording and the various versions for the various target systems.
Other deployment options
