What should be achieved?

It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on the spot.
You give your employees the opportunity to identify themselves around the clock with their own employee photo.

The personal photos are automatically cut to the best format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You can position a photo booth optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will sit in front of the photo box, similar to the photo booth, and read the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.

The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required data such as e.g. B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data can simply be read from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way is then subsequently a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal/external use of the recording can also be displayed.

After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.

The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the photographed image and the in-house employee data record via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the import interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can take place synchronously in some formats.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and/or the employee's name and position will be visible directly on the image.

How did the staff come to the picture?

To ensure that the CRM system or Active Directory alone does not get hold of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose to also receive their photo digitally.

  1. Download from an online gallery
    At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to copy their original photo and the various formats for the different target systems.
  2. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
    The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
    At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can load his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth.
  3. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
    The photo taken is sent directly to the employee's mailbox.
