What should be achieved?

The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at regularly alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on the spot.
You give your staff the opportunity to identify themselves to 100% at any time with their personal employee photo.

The personal photos can be automatically optimized to the optimal format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in several formats and aspect ratios.

The solution

You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the entrance in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box like in a passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the touchscreen.

The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data is read directly from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the image can also be displayed.

After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is analyzed, adjusted to a specified size and positioned in a defined position on the final image.

The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved photo and the internal employee data record via the name of the picture. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can take place in parallel in several dimensions.

Logically, each file can also be “branded” using the company logo and/or the name and position of the employee will be immediately visible on the image.

How does the photographed person get their photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to also receive his photo digitally.

1. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The captured photo is sent directly to the employee's email inbox.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to copy his original photo and the various versions for the different target systems.
3. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photobooth provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code will appear on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can save his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
