The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company have the option to photograph and / or update the individual employee photo at a fixed or regularly alternating location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your staff the option to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their own employee photo.

The personnel photos are automatically cut to the optimal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different dimensions and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card office or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box similar to a passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the display.

The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, name, surname and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up so that the data can be read in immediately from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way will later become an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a release option for internal / external use of the image.

Following the photograph of the employee portrait, the background of the image can automatically be replaced with one or more background settings you specified. The head of each photo is also found, scaled to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a defined point.

The photo is saved in a size and format determined by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the image is used to compare the saved image and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department define the import interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo is available as an optional extension.
The image output can take place in parallel in different forms.
So you always have the right photo for
XING, Outlook, the CRM system, Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp & Co

Logically, each file can also be “branded” with a company logo and / or the name and position of the employee will be directly visible on the picture.

How does the photographed person get the photo?

So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new photos, employees can choose between three different ways to get their photo as a file.

1. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed out on the screen, which the employee can use to download the original recording and the various versions for the various target systems.
2. Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.
3. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery in which employees can copy their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the direct vicinity of the Photo Box.

To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

The need for investment

The cost of purchasing a photobox optimized in this way starts at around € 4,400 plus VAT and pays off for companies with around 100 employees.
Of course, there is also the chance to try out the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is purchased immediately.
