The use of a photo box for employee photos

You give your employees the opportunity to always fully identify themselves with their own employee photo.

The staff photos are automatically cut to the best possible format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in many formats and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the touchscreen, similar to the photo booth.

The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Personnel number, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data is read in immediately from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the image.

After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. The head of each photo is also analyzed, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.

The recording is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the picture is used to compare the portrait taken with the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can take place simultaneously in different formats.
So you always have the right photo for

etc. ready.

Of course, each file can also be "branded" with company logos and/or the employee's name and position can be included directly in the image.

How does the photographed person get their photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new pictures, there are three different ways for the staff to choose to receive their picture as a file.

1. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The photo box provides its own WLAN which the workforce has to dial into.
   At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the workforce can download their pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the staff can use to download their original recording and the various formats for the different target systems.
3. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is sent immediately to the employee's email inbox.

In order to make optimal use of the investment, you have the following options:

The need for investment

The price for purchasing a photo box perfected in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for organizations with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to test the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the system is kept immediately.
