What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the option of creating and/or updating their individual employee photo at a fixed location or at a periodically changing location (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your staff the chance to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their own employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically cut to the best format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and saved in several dimensions and aspect ratios if desired.
The solution
You place a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can sit down in front of the photo booth and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the display, just like with a passport photo machine.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personnel identifier, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobooth can also be configured in such a way that the data is read directly from the employee ID card. The data recorded in this way is then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the employee profile.
After the employee picture has been photographed, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head is located for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned in a specified position on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and format defined by you (eg square for Active Directory). The file name is used to compare the photo taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the interface.
A biometric check and a cut for a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.
The image output can take place in several formats at the same time.

How do the staff get their picture?
To ensure that the CRM system or Active Directory alone does not come into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to get his photo as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download his original photo and the various formats for the various target systems. - Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is sent immediately to the employee's email inbox. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The Photo Box provides its own WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the employee can download his recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

Of course, there is also the possibility of trying out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is kept directly.
