What should be achieved?

The employees in your company have the option of photographing and/or updating their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at locations that change on a regular basis (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
You give your workforce the option to always fully identify themselves with their individual employee photo.

The personal photos are automatically adjusted to the optimal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in different shapes and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You place a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box, just like with a passport photo machine, and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the display.

The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required data such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobooth can also be configured in such a way that the data is read directly from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way is then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen can also be presented with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the image.

After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head is located for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified position on the final image.

The image is saved in a size and format specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved image and the internal employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department clarify the connection.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as options.
The image can be output in different formats at the same time.
So you always have the right photo for
Facebook, XING, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn
etc. at hand.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with the company logo and/or the name and position of the employee can be directly visible on the image.

How do the staff get their picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can enjoy the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to get his photo digitally.

1. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to download his original photo and the different sizes for the various target systems.
2. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The Photobox provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery where employees can download their photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth.
3. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email address.

Other deployment options

In order to get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

• Photo attraction at customer events & congresses
• Use at employee parties (summer party, Christmas party ...}
• Creation of biometric passport photos and ID photos
• Use at trade fairs to issue personalized “flyers”

The need for investment

The investment for the purchase of a photo box optimized in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and pays off for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the possibility to try out the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be offset against the subsequent purchase if the photo box is kept immediately.
