The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company have the option of photographing and/or updating their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at periodically alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on the spot.
You give your employees the option to always fully identify themselves with their own employee photo.

The staff photos can be independently optimized to the optimal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You place a photo booth that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box in a similar way to the passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.

The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee identifier, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be set up in such a way that the data can simply be read from the company ID card. The information collected in this way is later part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the photo can also be displayed.

After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the recording can be automatically replaced with one or several backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned in a specified position on the final image.

The image is saved in a size and format defined by you (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the file is used to compare the portrait taken with the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in defining the connection.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image output can take place in different forms at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be "branded" with company logos and/or the name and position of the employee will be immediately visible on the image.

How does the employee get their photo?

So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new recordings, there are three different ways for the employee to receive his picture as a file.

1. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to download his original photo and the different sizes for the different target systems.
3. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can copy his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

The need for investment

Of course there is also the possibility to test the system in advance on a rental basis for 650 € + 1 € / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the photo box is taken over immediately.
