What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that extra personnel are not required on site.
You give your workforce the chance to identify themselves completely around the clock with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically adapted to the appropriate format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in several shapes and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You can place a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit down in front of the photo box and read the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the display, just like with the passport photo machine.
The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. ID, name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way will later become an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal/external use of the employee portrait can also be displayed.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. The head is also located for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified location on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and format defined by you (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the file is used to compare the portrait taken with the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to help your IT department specify the interface.
A biometric check and a cut for a biometric ID photo are available as an extra extension.

Logically, each file can also be “personalized” with a company logo and/or the employee's name and position will appear directly on the image.

How does the employee get his picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to get his photo digitally.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download his original photo and the various formats for the various target systems. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobooth provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the employee can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox.
