What should be achieved?

The employees in your company have the option of photographing and/or updating their personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the dining room or company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your teams the option to fully identify themselves with their own employee photo around the clock.

The personal photos can be independently cut to the best possible format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in a number of dimensions and aspect ratios.

One possible solution

You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the human resources department, at the ID office or at reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees will sit in front of the photo box like they would at a passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.

The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required data such as e.g. B. Personnel ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the Photo Box can also be set up in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information collected in this way is then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a release option for internal/external use of the photo can also be displayed.

After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or different backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.

The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The file name is used to compare the photograph taken with the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can take place simultaneously in various dimensions.
So you always have the ideal photo for
Twitter, XING, the CRM system, Facebook, Instagram
etc. are available.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with the company logo and/or the employee's name and position can be immediately included in the image.

How does the photographed person get their photo?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can enjoy the new pictures, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to receive his picture as a file.

1. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can download his recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed, which the employee can use to download his original photo and the various sizes for the various target systems.
3. Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox.

Other possible uses

In order to get the most out of your purchase, you have the following options:

• Photos of groups of visitors, for example after a tour of the company
• Use at employee parties (summer party, Christmas party ...}
• Recording of biometric passport photos and ID photos
• Photo attraction at customer events & meetings
• Use at trade fairs to create personalized “flyers”

The need for investment

The cost of purchasing a photo box perfected in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for organizations with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the option to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is purchased directly.

Customer ratings

Since the system was introduced in 2019, two photo boxes have been permanently installed in Germany and Switzerland.
