The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company are given the option to create and / or update their own employee photo at a fixed location or at a location that changes periodically (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your staff the chance to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their personal employee photo.

The staff photos can be automatically cut to the optimum format, removed from disruptive elements in the background and, if desired, saved in many sizes and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.

The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID. The information recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the employee profile can also be displayed.

Following the photograph of the employee portrait, the background of the recording can be automatically exchanged for one or more backgrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also located, scaled to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a specified position.

The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio that you specify (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the saved image and the internal employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department define the interface.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an option.
The image output can take place simultaneously in various formats.

Logically, each file can also be “branded” with company logos and / or the name and position of the employee are directly visible on the picture.

How do the staff get their picture?

So that the CRM system or ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new photos, the employee can choose between three different ways of getting his picture digitally.

1. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the screen, which the employee can use to download the original image and the various versions for the different target systems.
2. Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
   Then the captured photo is sent directly to the employee's mailbox.
3. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can save his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the direct vicinity of the photo box.

To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:
