The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company get the chance to photograph and / or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your workforce the option to identify themselves at any time to 100% with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically adapted to the ideal format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in many shapes and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the entrance in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There the employees will sit down in front of the photo box, similar to the passport photo machine, and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personnel number, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up so that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The employee data collected in this way are then a component of the file name of the employee photo taken.

After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also determined, scaled to a specified size and placed in a defined position on the final image.

How did the staff get the photo?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new recordings, the employee can choose between three different ways to receive his photo digitally.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download his or her original photo and the various versions for the various target systems. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
Then the captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's inbox. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery in which the employee can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the immediate vicinity of the photobox.
