What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the option of creating and/or updating their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at a rotating location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your employees the chance to always identify 100% with their own employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically optimized to the right format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in some dimensions and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card office or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can sit in front of the photo box like in a passport photo machine and read the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.
The monitor serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the required information such as e.g. B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data is simply read in from the company ID card. The information recorded in this way is then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a privacy screen can also be set up with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the image.
After the photograph of the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head is located for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). The name of the file is used to compare the photograph taken with the in-house employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image output can take place in many sizes at the same time.
So you always have the best possible photo for

etc. within easy reach.
Logically, each file can also be "personalized" with the help of the company logo and/or the name and position of the employee can appear directly on the image.

How does the employee get the photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to get his picture as a file.
- Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download his original recording and the different sizes for the different target systems. - Enter the e-mail address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox. - Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobox provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery where the employee can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth.

The cost frame
The price for the purchase of a photo box perfected in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the option to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is purchased immediately.
