The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the option to photograph and / or update their personal employee photo at a fixed or periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not required on site.
You give your teams the option to always fully identify themselves with their own employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically cut to the best format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in several formats and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There the employees will stand in front of the photo booth in the same way as with a passport photo machine and read the instructions for the required actions on the display.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen in parallel as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Personal identification, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo booth can also be programmed in such a way that the data can be read out immediately from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the employee profile can also be displayed.
After the employee portrait has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds you have specified. Likewise, the head of each photo is located, scaled to a specified size and placed on the final image at a specified position.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison between the saved portrait and the in-house employee data set takes place via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in specifying the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional expansion stage.
The image output can take place in parallel in several dimensions.

Logically, each file can also be “personalized” with the help of the company logo and / or the name and position of the employee will appear on the picture.

How does the employee get their photo?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not come into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to receive his photo as a file.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobooth provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the recording, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the employee can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download the original recording and the various sizes for the various target systems. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
The photo taken is sent immediately to the employee's mailbox.

1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the system is kept directly.
