The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company are given the opportunity to create and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at a location that changes periodically (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that extra employees are not needed on site.
You give your employees the chance to always identify themselves to 100% with their individual employee photo.

The staff photos can be independently optimized to the right format, removed from disturbing elements in the background and saved in many dimensions and aspect ratios if desired.

The solution

You place a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID office or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is around 1.5mx 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box in a similar way to a passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the touchscreen.

The screen serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required data such as e.g. B. Personnel ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photobooth can also be configured in such a way that the data is immediately read from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal/external use of the photo can also be displayed.

After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head is located for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified location on the final image.

The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the saved photo and the internal employee data record takes place via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department define the connection.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an optional expansion stage.
The image output can happen synchronously in different sizes.

etc. within easy reach.

Of course, each file can also be "branded" using company logos and/or the name and position of the employee can be directly visible on the image.

How does the employee get his picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory can enjoy the new images, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to get his image digitally as well.

1. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The photo taken is then sent to the employee's email address.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to copy his original recording and the different versions for the different target systems.
3. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photo box provides a private WLAN that the employee must dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery where the employee can download his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.

Alternative uses

To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

• Recordings of groups of visitors, e.g. after a tour
• Use at trade fairs to issue personalized “flyers”
• Use at employee parties (summer party, Christmas party ...}
• Recording of biometric passport photos and ID photos
• Employee photos (as already explained)

The need for investment

The cost of purchasing a photo box optimized in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and pays off for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to try out the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the photo box is kept directly.
