The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and/or update the individual employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that extra staff is not needed on site.
You give your teams the option to identify themselves to 100% around the clock with their personal employee photo.

The staff photos can be automatically adjusted to the best possible format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.

The solution

You place a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees will stand in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary steps on the screen, just like at a passport photo machine.

The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as e.g. B. Personnel number, first name, family name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up in such a way that the data can simply be read in from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way is then an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal/external use of the image.

After photographing the employee picture, the background of the photo can be automatically exchanged for one or different backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is determined, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.

The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved image and the internal employee data record via the file name. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the interface.

A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are also available.
The image output can be done in several formats at the same time.
So you always have the best photo for
Outlook, the CRM system, WhatsApp & Co, Facebook, Twitter, XING
etc. are available.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with the company's logo and/or the employee's name and position will appear directly on the image.

How does the photographed person get his picture?

So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, the employee has three different ways to choose from to get his photo digitally.

1. Download from an offline gallery via QR code
   The photo box provides a private WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. That QR code leads to the offline gallery from which the employee can download his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box.
2. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The captured photo is then sent to the employee's mailbox.
3. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to download his original photo and the different sizes for the various target systems.

Other deployment options

In order to get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:

• Recordings of groups of visitors, e.g. after a tour of the company
• Photo attraction at customer events & congresses

The cost frame

The price for purchasing a photo box perfected in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the possibility to try out the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the later purchase if the photo box is kept directly.
