What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at a periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or human resources department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need additional staff on site.
You give your staff the opportunity to fully identify themselves at any time with their own employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically adjusted to the best possible format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in various shapes and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You position a photo box set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photobooth in a similar way to a passport photo machine and read the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.
The monitor serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Personnel number, first name, surname and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be set up so that the data can be read directly from the employee ID card. The information collected in this way then becomes an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the photo can also be displayed.
After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the image can be automatically replaced with one or more backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head is located for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio defined by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the saved image and the in-house employee data record via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department determine the interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as an extra expansion stage.
The image output can happen in parallel in different dimensions.

Logically, each file can also be “personalized” with company logos and/or the employee's name and position can be directly visible on the image.

How does the employee get his picture?
To ensure that the CRM system or Active Directory is not the only one to benefit from the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to choose from to get their photo digitally as well.
- Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code will appear on the screen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery in which the employee can save his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo booth. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.

At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed on the touchscreen or printed out, which the employee can use to download his original photo and the various formats for the different target systems.
Other deployment options
To get the most out of your investment, you have the following options:
