The mission goal
The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and / or update the individual employee photo at a fixed or regularly alternating location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra staff on site.
You give your teams the option to always identify themselves to 100% with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos can be automatically cut to the appropriate format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in several formats and aspect ratios.
Our proposed solution
You position a photo box that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo booth, similar to the passport photo machine, and read the operating instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.
The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the required information such as B. Personal identification, name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data can be read in immediately from the company ID card. The data recorded in this way are then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the recording can also be displayed.
After the photo of the employee picture has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds you have specified. The head is also found for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and positioned on the final image at a defined position.
The image is saved in a size and format specified by you (eg square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the saved photo and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the import interface.
As an extra option, a biometric check and a cut on a biometric ID photo are available.
The image output can take place in many formats at the same time.

Of course, each file can also be “branded” with logos and / or the name and position of the employee will be visible on the picture.

How does the employee get his picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can benefit from the new images, there are three different ways for the employee to receive his image digitally.
- Download via QR code from an offline gallery
The photobooth provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to the offline gallery in which the employee can download his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Entry of the email address at the end of the photo sequence.

At the end of the recording, a code is displayed or printed out on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to copy down his or her original recording and the various sizes for the various target systems.

The cost of purchasing a photobox optimized in this way starts at around € 4,400 plus VAT and pays off for businesses with around 100 employees.
Of course, there is also the opportunity to test the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the system is retained.
