The use of a photo box for employee photos
The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and / or update the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at a periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is achieved in the form of a self-service process and that extra personnel are not needed on site.
You give your employees the option to fully identify themselves at any time with their personal employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically optimized to the best possible format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and optionally saved in various sizes and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There the employees can sit in front of the photo box in the same way as with the passport photo machine and see the instructions for the necessary actions on the screen.
The screen serves as a touchscreen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personnel number, first name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data can be read in directly from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be displayed with a confirmation option for internal / external use of the recording.
Following the photograph of the employee portrait, the background of the image can be automatically exchanged for one or different backgrounds you have specified. The head is also determined for each photo, adjusted to a specified size and placed in a specified location on the final image.
The photo is saved in a size and format determined by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). A comparison is made between the saved portrait and the in-house employee data set using the name of the file. We would be happy to support your IT department in determining the connection.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo is available as an optional extension.
The image output can take place in different sizes at the same time.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory can benefit from the new recordings, the employee can choose between three different ways to receive his picture digitally.

The photobox provides its own WLAN that the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. That QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the employee can save his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only goes in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the photo sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the screen, which the employee can use to download the original image and the various sizes for the different target systems.
