The use of a photo box for employee photos

The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and / or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at alternating locations (e.g. in the casino or the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this is the case in the form of a self-service process and that additional personnel are not needed on site.
You give your employees the opportunity to identify themselves completely around the clock with their own employee photo.

The staff photos can be automatically cut to the best possible format, freed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in various sizes and aspect ratios.

A suggested solution

You position a photobox that is perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the HR department, at the ID or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There the employees will sit down in front of the photo box in the same way as with a passport photo machine and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor.

The screen serves as a touchscreen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Personnel number, name, family name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured in such a way that the data can be read directly from the company ID card. The information collected in this way then becomes part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen with a checkbox for internal / external use of the recording can also be displayed.

After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or different backgrounds you have specified. The head of each photo is also located, adjusted to a specified size and placed on the final image at a defined location.

The photo is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The file name is used to compare the saved image and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the connection.

A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as options.
The image output can take place in various sizes at the same time.

How does the photographed person get his picture?

So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory alone does not benefit from the new photos, the employee can choose between three different ways to get his photo as a file.

1. Download via QR code from an offline gallery
   The photobooth provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
   At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the employee can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the direct vicinity of the Photo Box.
2. Download from an online gallery
   At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to load his original recording as well as the various versions for the various target systems.
3. Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
   The captured photo is immediately sent to the employee's email inbox.
