What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the opportunity to create and/or update their personal employee photo at a fixed location or at a periodically changing location (e.g. in the casino or company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your employees the option to always fully identify themselves with their individual employee photo.
The personal photos are automatically cut to the best possible format, freed from disturbing elements in the background and, if desired, saved in many dimensions and aspect ratios.
A suggested solution
You place a photo box perfect for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID card or at the reception in a relaxed corner.
The space required is approx. 1.5 mx 1 m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and read the instructions for the necessary actions on the monitor, as with the photo booth.
The screen serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the necessary information such as e.g. B. Personnel number, first name, family name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed in such a way that the data is read directly from the employee ID card. The employee data recorded in this way then subsequently becomes an element of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a disclaimer screen can also be displayed with a release option for internal / external use of the recording.
After the employee photo has been taken, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or many backgrounds specified by you. The head is also determined for each photo, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a defined point on the final image.
The image is saved in a size and aspect ratio specified by you (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison is made between the recorded image and the in-house employee data record via the file name. We would be happy to help your IT department define the import interface.
A biometric check and an adaptation to a biometric ID photo are available as additional extensions.
The image output can happen in several dimensions at the same time.
So you always have the right photo for
WhatsApp & Co, the CRM system, Twitter, XING
etc. are available.
Of course, each file can also be "personalized" with a company logo and/or the name and position of the employee can be immediately included in the picture.

How does the employee get the picture?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to get his picture digitally.

The photo taken is immediately sent to the employee's mailbox. - Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides its own WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the employee can download his photos. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to load his original photo and the different versions for the different target systems.

The cost frame
The price for purchasing a photo box perfected in this way starts at around €4,400 plus VAT and is therefore worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees or more.
Of course, there is also the chance to test the system in advance on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the photo box is taken over immediately.
Customer ratings
Since the system was introduced in 2019, two systems have been set up permanently in Germany and Zurich.
