The mission goal
The employees in your company have the option of creating and/or updating the individual employee photo at a fixed location or at a location that changes on a regular basis (e.g. in the dining room or the company canteen or HR department).
It is essential that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that you do not need extra staff on site.
You give your employees the opportunity to always identify themselves to 100% with their personal employee photo.
The personal photos can be automatically optimized to the appropriate format, removed from annoying elements in the background and optionally saved in different sizes and aspect ratios.
One possible solution
You position a photo box optimized for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the personnel department, at the ID office or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
There, the employees can stand in front of the photo box and see the instructions for the necessary steps on the monitor, similar to the photo booth.
The monitor serves as a touch screen at the same time as an input terminal for the necessary information such as B. Employee ID, first name, last name and/or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be programmed so that the data is simply read from the employee ID card. The information recorded in this way will later become part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen with a checkbox for internal/external use of the image can also be displayed.
After photographing the employee portrait, the background of the photo can be automatically replaced with one or various backgrounds specified by you. Likewise, the head of each photo is identified, scaled to a specified size and positioned at a specified location on the final image.
The recording is saved in a size and format you specify (eg square for Active Directory). A comparison between the stored portrait and the in-house employee data record takes place via the name of the file. We would be happy to help your IT department define the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an option.
The image output can take place in different forms at the same time.

How does the photographed person get the photo?
So that not only the CRM system or the Active Directory comes into possession of the new photos, there are three different ways for the employee to get his photo as a file.
- Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photo box provides its own WLAN, which the employee must dial into.
At the end of the photo sequence, a QR code is displayed on the screen. The QR code leads to an offline gallery from which the employee can download his pictures. In contrast to the online gallery, this way only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Download from an online gallery
At the end of the recording, a code is displayed on the screen or printed out, which the employee can use to download his original recording and the various formats for the various target systems. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.
In this case, the captured photo will be sent to the employee's email address immediately.
