What should be achieved?
The employees in your company have the opportunity to photograph and / or bring up to date their personal employee photo at a fixed or regularly changing location (e.g. in the casino, the company canteen or HR department).
It is important that this takes place in the form of a self-service process and that additional employees are not needed on site.
You give your staff the option to always identify themselves to 100% with their individual employee photo.
The staff photos are automatically adapted to the best format, freed from annoying elements in the background and, if desired, saved in various dimensions and aspect ratios.
The solution
You position a photobooth set up for employee photos in your company (e.g. in the Katine, at the ID or at the reception in a quiet corner.
The space requirement is approx. 1.5m x 1m.
As with the passport photo machine, employees can sit in front of the photo box and read the operating instructions for the necessary steps on the screen.
The screen serves as a touch screen in parallel as an input terminal for the required information such as B. ID, first name, last name and / or date of birth.
Alternatively, the photo box can also be configured so that the data can be read in directly from the company ID card. The information collected in this way is then part of the file name of the employee photo taken.
Optionally, a data protection screen can also be set up with a release option for internal / external use of the image.
After the employee picture has been taken, the background of the picture can be automatically exchanged for one or various background settings you have specified. The head of each photo is also found, scaled to a specified size and placed on the final image at a defined location.
The photo is saved in a size and format specified by you (e.g. square for the ActiveDirectory). The name of the file is used to compare the saved image and the internal employee data record. We would be happy to support your IT department in clarifying the import interface.
A biometric check and a cut to a biometric ID photo are available as an option.
The image output can take place in parallel in many formats.

Of course, each file can also be “personalized” with the help of the company logo and / or the name and position of the employee can immediately appear on the picture.

How does the employee get the photo?
So that the CRM system or the ActiveDirectory does not alone get the new pictures, the employee has three different ways to choose to get his picture digitally.
- Download from an offline gallery via QR code
The photobooth provides a private WLAN which the employee has to dial into.
At the end of the sequence, a QR code is displayed on the touchscreen. This QR code leads to an offline gallery in which the employee can save his recordings. In contrast to the online gallery, this path only works in the immediate vicinity of the photo box. - Enter the email address at the end of the photo sequence.

At the end of the sequence, a code is displayed or printed on the touchscreen, which the employee can use to download the original recording and the various formats for the various target systems.

The need for investment
The price for purchasing such a perfected photo box starts at around € 4,400 plus VAT and is worthwhile for companies with around 100 employees.
Of course, there is also the option to test the system beforehand on a rental basis for € 650 + € 1 / employee photo plus VAT per week.
1/2 of the rent will be credited to the subsequent purchase if the photo box is kept immediately.
